I come from Duque de Caxias, a humble city in Rio de Janeiro's Baixada Fluminense. Not many people from there end up studying cosmology — let alone working as a postdoc at Zhejiang University. But after finishing my PhD at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, focused on Baryon Acoustic Oscillations in galaxy surveys, and spending time at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias on a CAPES PrInt fellowship — where I got to work more deeply on theory.
I work with Large-Scale structure of the universe, especially Baryon ACoustic Oscillations. In astrophysical context, I am involded with photmetric redshift estimation and galaxy morphology (which will be crucial to a future bigger project).
I'm part of the J-PAS collaboration. Here, there are some links to old projects and written work, as well as, a photometric redshift catalog we tested: Pz Cats.
